The Anji-Khad bridge is a railway bridge in Jammu & Kashmir which is a part of the megaproject of the region, the USBRL (Udhampur Srinagar Baramulla Rail Link) which is going to finally connect the Srinagar valley with the rest of the country by rail. This rail is one of the bridges which spans over the Anji Khad river.
The Bandra Worli Sea link is a road bridge in Mumbai, Maharashtra, which has become the icon of Mumbai as it is one of the most unique & beautiful bridges in India. The purpose of this bridge is to provide highway access to the southern parts of Mumbai. However this bridge currently ends in Worli. The extension to the southern part of Mumbai is the Mumbai Coastal Road, which is currently partially open.
The Chenab bridge is another railway bridge in Jammu & Kashmir on the USBRL (Udhampur Srinagar Baramulla Rail Link) which has now become the flagship infrastructure of India. This bridge spans across the Chenab River in Kashmir at a staggering height of 359 Meters above the river, which is taller than the Eiffel Tower. Currently this bridge has been completed, however the USBRL is still under construction which is why this bridge remains closed for commercial train services.
The Sudarshan Setu is a road bridge in Okha, Gujurat which spans over the Arabian Sea to the Beyt Dwarka Island, which was previously only accessible by boats. This bridge has also added a positive picture on India's rapid development, considering that such a bridge was built in a very rural area. This bridge was opened on 25th Feb 2024 by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji.
The Atal Setu is a road bridge in Mumbai, Maharashtra which is also India's longest sea bridge, spanning over 21 KM (16 KM over sea) from Navi Mumbai to Sewri in Mumbai. This bridge was the first gift to the nation as it was opened on 12th January by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji. This bridge aims to reduce stress on the Suburban Railway and the existing Vashi Bridge. This also intended to reduce the time & distance between Mumbai & Navi Mumbai.
