Regional Rapid Transit System

The RRTS is a commuter rail system which is not a ordinary suburban railway. What makes it special is that it has it's own tracks and stations. The primary benefit of this railway is making long journeys faster.

What is the need for a RRTS?

Every single day, hundreds of thousands of people travel between Delhi and Meerut for work being in Delhi and home being in Meerut. To travel people much before use to travel either by the small congested city roads or take the train.

Then came the NE3 expressway. It made travel by road better, faster and more comfortable. But for someone without a car, it is not useful.

Here comes the RRTS into play. The modern and advanced system entering this region which is going to change the local travel forever. This train is going to be faster than road, High speed trains are always faster than road. Finally in the long term, CO2 emmisions will be reduced.

This is the under construction route of the RRTS system
