Why Japan's Population is Decreasing?

So, Japan… the Land of the Rising Sun, the Modern Robots & the Shinkansen’s Birthplace. This is all exciting, amazing but who made them? The Japanese people of course! But they are now decreasing. With fewer bright minds, it has more than imaginable consequences.

Why is the Population decreasing?

Reason 1: Family Planning

Since Japan is a highly developed country similar to the US or UK, they don’t follow the old system of having more family members means more income. Japanese families have only 1 child but can have 2 in rare circumstances

Reason 2: Japanese Natives moving out the nation

With high inflation & other reasons in the nation, the cost of regular items are sky high. The Nation lacks on basic resources like coal & oil which are imported. To solve this, they use nuclear which is space saving & eco-friendly.

Reason 3: The Rise of Automation

With more robots on the rise of doing jobs humans use to do, there doesn’t seem to be a need for more people anymore. The people also have to keep a balance between humans & robots so robots don’t take over like The Terminator or the Matrix.

What should happen & How to recover from this decline in Population?

This is in the hands of the population itself & the government. If they want a bigger economy & bigger families, the can increase the birth & fertility rate. Meanwhile we will be seeing declining numbers only.
