Bus transport is the oldest public transport service in Berlin. 

The system is one of the most complex systems in Germany.

An Army of 1300 buses work on 368 lines work around the clock to serve the people of Berlin.They altogether cover 300000KM a day.

History


This all began in 1846 when the omnibus (Horse pulled buses) were used. After The Berlin Wall was created, Traffic had become too much so companies had merged. To create the bus comapny that is seen today.
