London City Bus

The London City bus is one of the largest BRT systems in the world and is the largest MRT in United Kingdom. The Network has over 1200+ Routes covering all of London and its outskirts.

This is the the 38 Bus going towards London Victoria Railway Station. The bus has very high popularity as seen the lower & upper decks are filled with passengers.

The Network is more of a tourist attraction than a transport service. It has been in movies, souvenirs and more. The Network consists of 23000 Stops around London and it suburbs.

An army of 10000 red buses and 8000 more which are private (Not under government transport). carry 6 million people daily, 42 Million Weekly, 168 Million Monthly and 2 Billion Yearly. Making this one of the most fuel efficient and non-pollutant transport in the world.

History

In the 18th Century, Everyone used to have a horse and cart, later becoming dangerous for everything including people's time The London Tube was started, But it didn't cover all of London, Like neighborhoods out of Central London. Other had multiple problems here some of problems observed

To solve these the London Bus was operated and was quite a big success as poor people or people who did not want to spend money for large cars used this service so often that it became profitable within a year. 


Today the monster network is operated by TFL (Transport of London). Being most successful bus services in the world.
